Robot Detective (ロボット刑事) is a 1973 tv show created by Shotaro Ishinomori (Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and many more) and produced by Toei. When mysterious criminal organization known as BAD starts leasing out killer criminal robots, it's up to Detective K to stop them. With the help of Detectives Shiba and Shinjo - two cops at the Metropolitan police department - will Detective K be able to crack the case? Or will BAD's schemes go unpunished?
I stumbled into this show on accident while I was browsing some Kikaider-related webpages, and I figured it'd be a good first review project to tackle as it's "only" 26 episodes. I'm going in completely blind and with little experience with Showa era tokusatsu beyond "Kamen Rider (1971)," so please excuse any mistakes I may make.
